Camp Tanase

I collaborated with a small team to build Tennessee State Park’s first overnight summer camp from the ground up. Camp Tanase is a co-ed camp that teaches 10-14 year olds how to explore and advocate for the outdoors like a Tennessee State Park Ranger.

This project allowed me to serve as social media director, camp photographer, program developer, and much more. We focused our marketing efforts on the unique Ranger-led activities that the camp offered.

I designed and wrote the copy for a website that housed information about camp. I also set up registration services on the site.

To convey our focus as a Ranger-led camp, I started a “staff spotlight” series on social media that introduced each staff member with a quote related to camp or service for our parks.
